Beautiful cozy place, well decorated and very clean. Situated in a lovely small village very close to Montalcino, parking is close by in the public village car park a short walk to the apartment. Francesco gave us a warm welcome and was on hand to answer all our questions as well as local restaurant and wine tasting recommendations. My husband would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is beautiful. It has some fantastic views and being in the borgo is just great. It was super hot when we went but the apartment is on top of a hill and the breeze was amazing. Super recommended. I will go back for sure.

Great stay at Il Borghetto. About 9 km from Montalcino in the heart of Brunello wine country. Beautiful views. Many wineries nearby. Stefania and her son Francesco were great hosts and easy to communicate with. The apartment is great for 2 couples traveling together. Just down from the village is a wine/appertivo bar called Vin Canto. Great place to spend the evenings. Everything served is local and Ivan has great stories to tell about the area. Il Borghetto was a great home base for Siena, Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano. If you want to live the local life, this is your place.

Everything about tis accommodation exceeded our expectations. The location in a typical mediëval village, the well-appointed spaces, the tastefully and spacious bedrooms and the friendlyness of the owner. It offers easy access to Montalcino, the Sant'Antimo Abbey and a number of great wineries.

The BEST place of the 30 or so Airbnbs that I stayed at. Great space, great views, minutes from Montalcino and tasting vineyards and delicious Brunellos. Wonderfully decorated and the most helpful host I've yet to meet. You'd make a mistake not staying here.

The stone structure centuries old and recently renovated maintains it's old world charm while providing modern conveniences. The apartment is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The walled village is picturesque, friendly, quiet, and walkable. The Abby Sant'Antimo, great wineries, vineyards and olive orchards are all within walking distance. Stefania is a wonderful host who helped make our stay more pleasurable from our check in and walk through to the tips she provided about the village and places to visit in the surrounding area.

The place is a dream! It could not be cozier, cleaner or more well decorated. It feels amazing to be in this apartment and one almost hates to leave it, although the entire Tuscan countryside around calls for exploration. The location, the views, the amazing little hamlet where it is situated is all to beautiful to be true. The house has all the amenities you could hope for and gorgeous Italian linens. The sleep was heaven in one of the most serene and gorgeous landscapes on earth. Stefania was an absolutely perfect host and available for any need even during the Easter holiday! She is most definitely a super house and this place is your best find in Tuscany.

We were happy that we found and were able to stay at Stefania's beautiful place. It is located in the small village where we trully felt the Tuscany leisure vibe. Good location to make one day trips around.The apartment is in reality even more impressive and beautiful and after a few days you just won't wanna leave.. thanks Stefania!!
