Benvenuto Brunello is presented in February and provides for the presentation to the press of new wines introduced on the market starting from the new year's lists. The stars were assigned to the new harvest and were awarded for the first time at the Leccio d'Oro premiere.
During the event several tastings of Brunello, one of the most celebrated wines in the world, are organized in the Cloister of the Montalcino Museum. There are also opportunities to taste other excellences such as Rosso di Montalcino, truffles and extra virgin olive oil.
